The NPI has received the TOPGGZ quality mark for all its treatments. This gives the NPI the recognition that it provides highly specialized and innovative client care and combines this with scientific research and knowledge dissemination.
The quality mark is an incentive for the NPI to further innovate the treatments and to substantiate them scientifically. We will be recertified in 2024.
Why does the NPI think this quality mark is important?
"It is of course important that clients can trust the NPI that they will be treated optimally and according to the most recent insights. Personality disorders are still undertreated and this quality mark helps to change this. The quality mark confirms the high quality of care we offer to our clients in combination with knowledge sharing, scientific research and innovation and underlines our position as a specialist in the field of personality disorders," says Rien Van, director of treatment at the NPI.
What does the TOPGGz Foundation do?
The Foundation for Top Clinical Mental Health issues this quality mark. The aim of the Top Clinical Mental Health Care Foundation is to stimulate and facilitate top clinical mental health care. Institutions with this quality mark offer help to clients with complex problems who cannot be helped properly with regular mental health treatment. TOPGGz institutions/departments meet strict criteria in the field of specialist diagnostics and treatment, scientific research, innovation and knowledge dissemination.
