Working at the NPI

The NPI is a specialized center in Amsterdam for the treatment of people with personality problems. We work from a development-oriented psychodynamic vision. It is our profession to continuously improve the treatments in consultation with the client and referrer.

Part of Arkin

The NPI employs approximately 200 employees, including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, healthcare psychologists and social psychiatric nurses. We treat at three locations in Amsterdam and at one location in Amersfoort and Utrecht. The NPI is part of Arkin. The Randstad mental health care provider. Latest state of science

The NPI plays an important role in specialist training for doctors who specialise as psychiatrists and for psychologists who specialise as GZ psychologists, psychotherapists or clinical psychologists. Furthermore, many NPI employees are active as trainers, teachers and supervisors. NPI employees also give lectures in educational programs and at scientific conferences. All these activities ensure that you will be dealing with practitioners who work according to the latest science.
