Waiting times
Below you can see the waiting times. The number of weeks is an indication. This means that the number of weeks may be higher or lower than the number shown below. We do our best to keep waiting times as short as possible. Once you have registered, we will contact you by phone to make an appointment for an intake interview.
Registration and treatment waiting time
In the table you can see the 'registration waiting time' and the 'treatment waiting time'. The registration waiting time is the average time you have to wait from the moment you are registered with us until you come for an intake interview. The treatment waiting time is the average time between the intake interview and the actual treatment. Since November 1, an intake stop has applied to English-speaking clients.
If you have any questions, please call the Central Registration Department Arkin: 020 – 590 44 44.
To prepare for your treatment, you can view the Factsheet Ready before the start .

Waiting periods and insurance
Our waiting times are the same for everyone: it doesn't matter which health insurer you are insured with. Sometimes the waiting times are very long, which we call 'above the standard'. If that is the case, you can ask your health insurer for so-called 'waiting list mediation'.
Your health insurer can then support you so that the waiting time remains within the standards. These standards are the maximum waiting times that healthcare providers and health insurers have jointly agreed upon. We call this the 'Treeknorm'. This standard is that you have an intake interview within four weeks of the first contact with a healthcare provider. And that the treatment then starts within ten weeks after that intake interview.
We will do our best to welcome you as soon as possible!
