Pregnant women day treatment
Pregnancy is not a pink cloud for every woman. The main goal of the day treatment for pregnant women is that you face the pregnancy, the upcoming delivery and the upcoming motherhood with fewer complaints and more confidence. The day treatment takes place every Thursday from 9:30 am to 3:15 pm on the sixth floor of the NPI location West at Overschiestraat 55 in Amsterdam. The day treatment is a group treatment. Your presence in the group is therefore important. The group consists of a maximum of 10 pregnant women, in different phases of their pregnancy with various problems. During the period that you follow the day treatment, group members flow in and out. We call this an 'open group'. Read more in the brochure below.

Partner group
Group therapy for fathers/partners started in 2025. You can be registered for this if you have psychological problems with you, the mother or the child. If these problems started during pregnancy or up to two years after giving birth, you can start this group treatment. Every 2 weeks you will meet on Tuesday morning with the other participants (maximum 9 participants, minimum 6
participants). Each time lasts an hour and a half. With this group you will meet a total of 6 times. The group therapy is supervised by two practitioners from the NPI. The goal is to increase your involvement in the family. Read more in the brochure below.

Postpartum Group
In the postpartum group treatment we reflect on the relationship between you and your baby. This relationship is central during the meetings. If the contact between you is good, it helps your child's development and you feel stronger and calmer in your role as a parent. You come to the meetings with your baby. There are ten meetings, in which different themes are discussed. The Post Partum Group is intended for parents with psychological problems and with a child between 0 and 1 year old. It is a so-called 'open group'. This means that there is no fixed start date and that in the period that you follow the group, people are always rounding off and new people are joining. Read more in the brochure below.
